Wow...1/2 a year old!

My mommy can't believe that I'm already 6 months old. Boy do I do a lot of tricks now. I have two huge accomplishments this month. First and foremost, I must mention that I now have two teeth. I was REALLY cranky one Sunday and everyone kept saying it couldn't be teeth because I was too little. Ha! Little do they know! My mommy discovered them by accident when my paci fell out and I yawned. (She didn't know they had been there for days!) They're cute little teeth too...two on the bottom. I'm still drooling like crazy and am always chomping on my fingers, so I wouldn't be surprised if some more pop up soon. My second biggest accomplishment this month is that I can now get my toes in my mouth. That's hard to do, you should try it. My mommy laughs when she comes to get me from my crib and my toes are wet. I still LOVE to eat. I'm now eating two meals a day plus my four bottles. I can eat squash, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, pears, and bananas....and of course oatmeal! Now that my mommy's home for the summer, she's going to make homemade baby food for me. I'm sure I'll love that too because I'm not known to turn down food. I go to the doctor next week for my 6 month check up and shots, so I'll have to get on that dreaded scale and let you know how much weight I've gained. Till then...

Look at me, I'm 5 month old!

Well...let's be honest here. I'm really 5 1/2 months old. My slacker mom forgot to put my pictures up. Geez. So, where should I start? I think I'm about a 15 pounder now. My mommy's arm muscles are looking toned these days thanks to me. I can now successfully grab my toes. I've been working on this task for weeks and have finally achieved it....but now that I can grab them, I don't know what to do with them! Someday I hope they make it to my mouth. I also am a foodie, just like my mom. Hey, you don't get to be a 15 pounder without some work! I now eat 4-5 bottles a day and I just went from 6 to 8 ounces. I also eat oatmeal twice a day and usually a veg for dinner. So far I love peas and carrots! I am so much fun to be around. I laugh, giggle, smile, grab, and my biggest achievement....(drumroll please)....I play peek-a-boo! Stay tuned!

I LOVE OATMEAL!

(Sing to the tune of "I Want Candy")

I know a girl who loves to eat.....
She eats oatmeal, it's a treat....
Sometimes she has stinky feet....
That's my Vivi, she's so sweet...

I want oatmeal...
I want oatmeal...
I want oatmeal...
I want oatmeal...

(Repeat as necessary!) :)

Yep...that's who you think it is!

I met the Pioneer Woman...the ultimate blogger....the country home-cooker....the person that makes me want to move to a ranch and homeschool my own kids! This is an absolute horrible picture of me (it was the end of a very long day at school), however I had to post this. Ree Drummond has a new children's book and she presented it to our school. I think I was the only one that brought my camera and asked for a picture (dork!). I told her I had a blog too and asked if it was okay to post this picture. She said yes, of course. I was secretly waiting for her to ask what my blog was......but she didn't. Ha ha...Oh well.

Splish Splash

One day Vivi's going to hate that I put pictures of her online of her in the bathtub. Hopefully I'll have 11-13 more years until that happens, so for now, these are too cute not to share. She has pretty much outgrown the "infant" tub that we currently have to use on our dining room table. We do have a bigger tub that fits in the normal bathtub, but that would mean Frank would have to go into the attic to get it down. So...until that happens, we will be snuggly fitting into the infant tub as long as we can. As you can see, she does like it! She just figured out how to splash. How did we get the cutest baby in the whole world? I guess we're just lucky. :)
