Project Time
Summer is almost over and I STILL haven't gotten to Vivi's table yet! I started today by getting some new table legs at Lowe's. They were only $5 a piece and I needed to get some bigger legs so my chairs would fit. These chairs were a find at my school. A teacher was going to take these to the dump, can you believe it?!? One person's junk.....I wouldn't be surprised if they were from 1926 when the school opened. They are old, but solid wood. They're a tiny bit big for Vivi now, but I think she will still manage to get her toosh on them.
Isn't that table a beaut? As much as I love the Winnie the Pooh (sarcasm, if you can't tell), it's time for it to go. This was a friend of mine's table. It survived three boys and now it's time to move on.
I've got to say I love it when I look through my bins in the garage and find exactly what I need! I have so much sandpaper from projects over the years, no need to buy more. I've got two weeks to finish this project. Stay tuned! I will be scanning pinterest for inspiration. I know I want to use chalkboard paint somewhere. We shall see!

Popsicles
I finally tried my new Zoku popsicle maker and I really like it. It was a gift from a student that makes my top ten favorite students of all time list. Her and her mom were pretty awesome and they bought this for me as an end-of-the-year gift and thought Vivi would like it too. How thoughtful! I've been pinning popsicle recipes all summer, but this one really stood out to me. It comes from the website
laaloosh.com and I was impressed. Here's the recipe. You don't need a Zoku to make them. Just a paper cup and a popsicle stick would do!
1 can pineapple chunks (juice included)
1 can lite coconut milk
1 banana
1 tsp. vanilla
I blended these ingredients together then poured into my Zoku. Ten minutes later had a delicious treat! Only 1 WW point if your into that sort of thing. Frank and Vivi approved too! Try it...I dare you.

Santa Fe
We took our first road trip with Vivi to Santa Fe last week. She was actually a very good girl in the car!
Here we are at the Santa Fe Farmer's Market. It was pretty awesome.
Of course I had to buy Vivi one of these fresh flower crowns!
We planned this little vacay around a wedding that Frank was in. Charles and Ronda are friends of ours that love Santa Fe and chose this beautiful setting for their nuptials. It was THE most beautiful wedding I've been too. I have to share a few pictures. It was just so beautiful. This is Amber and me as we entered the terrazzo where the wedding was taking place at the La Fonda hotel.
Here comes Ronda in her gorgeous dress and veil. She got her dress at Kleinfeld's in NYC and her vail is from Italy. Gorgeous!
Tying the knot! That's Frank three guys down. Can you believe that backdrop?!?!
Frank and me all dolled up....Santa Fe style.
The centerpieces were all succulents. They were so beautiful. The picture doesn't even do it justice!
Delicious cake from a Santa Fe bakery called Chocolate Maven. It was so buttery and yummy. Wish I had a piece right now. :)
Another gorgeous touch of this unbelievable wedding.
We walked by this guy every day on our way back to our casita. I plan on framing this picture for our home someday.
The Arnold fam...here we are at the plaza listening to some live music. I never imagined I'd love Santa Fe so much. What a beautiful place to visit!

Giving it a try....
So, in order to complete my summer list, I MUST buy a wood floor cleaner and use it. This is what I've decided to buy. I will be purchasing this very soon as my wood floors are crying for me to clean them. I'll keep you posted. The reviews look good, so we shall see!

Almost Impossible
Vivi and I are back from New York. We had a great time. Vivi was such a good little traveler. Everyone in NY adored her and she had a blast. I have a TON of great pictures that I will share soon. I love pictures that tell a story and these are some of the best, despite being blurry. I tried my hardest to get a picture of Vivi and her New York cousins. We started on the deck steps.....
Then she took off running before I could even take a picture! The cousins followed...
And followed.....
Almost got one......but not quite. Little Veeves was on the move again....
Finally...a decent picture. But where's Gabriella?!?! Ahhh...this was the best I could do! It was a funny sight to watch. :)
